KENT ROAD

Our client inherited this house from his parents. Forty-five years earlier he met his wife at the pool in this backyard. Starting in 2020 with their Feasibility Study, they were both ready to renovate the home that had been part of their lives for decades.

The interior of the house had not been updated since its original purchase in 1960. A key part of the whole house renovation assignment was to keep the feel and character of the original center hall colonial, while reimagining the space inside. This work included updating the kitchen and four bathrooms.

In an unusual circumstance, our clients owned a large tract of land behind the house in this close-knit Philadelphia suburb. We created a glass addition to connect the traditional original house to this rare, wild, suburban landscape.
